The process of creating characters at Disney is an evolving, collaborative effort. We start with a strong design and must maintain the appeal it conveys throughout the animation pipeline. The design evolves throughout the process, but a large part of what we do is maintaining the attitude and personality of the original drawing as it translates into 3D.
We use ZBrush at WDAS as a tool that allows us to make changes and explorations quickly with designers and animators. We can explore facial expressions, and test out proportion adjustments on the fly without waiting for draw-overs or note sessions.

All the racers said the number of their Easter eggs, even Wynnchel and Duncan. “Well done guys!” the President applauded at all the participants of the Easter egg hunt, who was the one who had hidden all the eggs, with Sour’s Bill help. “Thank you Sour Bill.” She said. “Mmm-hmm” he nodded. “Here”, Vanellope gave him a little basket with chocolate eggs inside, as a way of gratitude. “Van!” screamed Taffyta. “We have a present for you”. All the racers stepped aside. Snowanna, Jubileena and Minty appeared with a big chocolate egg, decorated with sprinkles, candy and lot of sweets, and it had little touches of every racer. She got up off the ground after thinking and thinking, and made her way towards the exit of Sugar Rush, hoping to find a better place to live. “Maybe I’ll find someone just like me, that understands and help me, or a nice person that gives me a nice new home.”, she thought a little excited. She hurried to go out, she couldn’t wait to find a new friend. The little girl finally got to the end of the rainbow road, to the exit of her game, to the entry to a new and better life.
